Anna Drobná and Anna Yaghobová, doctoral candidates from Charles University in Prague, are currently at the University of Jena to gain new insights and feedback on their research and dissertations through collaboration with the Michael T. Rücker de's computer science education workgroup.

Anna Drobná, specializing in primary education, and Anna Yaghobová, focused on mathematics and computer science education for secondary schools, are conducting joint research into the preconceptions of different age groups about computer networks. In addition to their research, they are developing research-based multimedia educational materials using action and design-based methodologies.

During their time at Jena, they are also exploring the German education system and teacher training practices.
